Serving from the late 1950s, the type is believed to have been withdrawn c1975. T-414 was displayed at Malang AFB from 2009 until September 2017 when it was dismantled and moved to the museum at Yogyakarta.

A real star of the collection for me, one of 21 Czech-built Il-14s that were part of a large number of aircraft supplied by Czechoslovakia to support a re-equipment programme begun in 1958. They were stationed at Halim Perdanakusuma, Jakarta with transport units SkU.2 and SkU.17 and the last is thought to have operated till 1975

This aircraft was built as a C-54D for USAAF, serial 42-72633, but it was transferred to the US Navy as R5D-3 BuNo 56516, and then sold to Spain.
