Presently displayed at Tamworth Airport, the home base for the former East-West Airlines. The RAF Museum thinks it has this aircraft but has VH-AZU ex LT773. The two aircraft were stored at Sid Marshall's yard next to Bankstown airport. East West Airlines acquired ASM, which was its first aircraft, from Marshall in 1972. AZU remained in the yard until after Marshall's death in 1975. The RAF Museum's confusion is a mystery as ASM was complete and on display when it bought its wingless Anson in Australia. VH-ASM came to Australia in 1973 from the UK where it was G-AYMI. This undated photo shows it in the process of being repainted from the livery it had worn when it was -AYMI and initially retained in Australia. The late 1970s is most likely. By the end 1981 it had been painted in another livery.

Sold in the US as N32GG in March 1999.

VH-ASM after restoration for East-West Airlines. Now displayed at Tamworth, NSW.

VH-ASM in Sid Marshall's compound on the edge of Bankstown airport. Marshall had a sentimental attachment to the aircraft because its registration were his initials. After the Anson was cancelled, he used -ASM on his Lockheed 10. The barbed-wire protected compound contained several dismantled aircraft removed from Bankstown airport. Access was rarely granted. -ASM was East-West Airlines' first aircraft and was bought by the airline for restoration as an exhibit. Displayed at Tamworth airport.

VH-ASM languished at Bankstown after all Ansons were grounded and was later being stored in Marshall's compound on the edge of the airport. It had been East-West Airlines' first aircraft and was acquired by the airline in 1972. -ASM is now displayed at Tamworth where East-West was based.

Named "Hinkler".

Owned by Marshall Airways and seen here parked in front of their hangar. Was no longer operated at this time.

Delivered to Ansett in July 1937 as VH-UZO, serving them until January 1951. Owned by Marshall Airways as VH-ASM from December 1962. Restored to flying condition and first flew again as VH-UZO on 6 September 1991.

VH-ASM had been withdrawn from use due to corrosion when this picture was taken. Owned by Marshall Airways at the time and seen here stored in front of their Bankstown hangar. It was eventually subjected to an expensive rebuild from which it emerged in its original pre-war colours and registration (VH-UZO).

VH-ASM was the fourth aircraft to wear this registration and by 2017 it had reached six. This VH-ASM was sold in the US in 1984.
