This Wirraway was not brought on RAAF charge, as A20-722, until right at the very end of the Second World War, in August 1945. It served until 1958 when it was sold and eventually recovered from a farm near Horsham, Vic. It was restored to flying condition by Borg Sorensen between 1984 and 2002. Registered VH-CAC(4), it made its first post-restoration flight on 8 June 2002. It made its last flight on 28 April 2018 on delivery to the Nhill Aviation Heritage Centre.
