Registered in Australia in January 1999 ex H4-HSD. It had been on the Australian register from July 1957 initially as VH-WWA and later VH-MJO. It was sold in the Solomon Islands in 1992. VH-WET registration revoked in 2006 and in 2008 the aircraft was immersed in floodwater that inundated Mackay airport. It was gone from Mackay by 2010 and was then spotted in Thailand in 2013. Last reported at the Chokchai Museum at Pak Chong.

Tiger Moths used for agricultural flying were fitted with roll bars in an effort to protect pilots. They continued to suffer a high accident rate and from December 31, 1964 were banned from ag operations.

The appropriately-registered VH-WET(6) was one of a number of seaplanes attending the RAAF Lake Boga 75th Anniversary Splash-in. It was first registered on 18 December 2013.
