SE-DAS was one of 17 DC-0-41s delivered to SAS in 1974 with Y122 seating for domestic services, replacing DC-9-21s which were to be used for thin international services, and also replacing the last Caravelles in the SAS fleet. SE-DAS had the name "Gardar Viking". 1984 SE-DAS was repainted to the colours on this photo, and reconfig CY105. April 1988 SE-DAS was named "The Viking King" for the Swedish King's official visit to the USA. It was not renamed to "Gardar Viking" again until 1990. January 7th 2002 wfu after nearly 28 years for SAS, after flying SK1606 ZRH-ARN as the final DC-9 flight in SAS. Scanned from Fuji HR200 negative film
