Purchased for Danish Navy in 1913 as one of two Donnet-Leveque flying boats and named Maagen 2. Withdrawn from service in 1915, after falling off a pier. Donated to the Historical Technical Collection (now the Technical Museum of Denmark) in 1919.

The Donnet-Lévêque A was the first French seaplane and was inspired by the Curtiss floatplanes. It first flew on 15th March 1912 and attempted to fly to London on 9th August of that year though it had an accident at Boulogne. It is part of the Musee de l'Air et de l'Espace
