Delivered to Singapore Airlines as 9V-SGE in 1978. To Alaska Airlines as N296AS in 1981 then to Continental Micronesia in 1993. Reregistered as N86425 in 1997. Converted to a freighter in 2000 then to Asia Pacific Airlines in 2001 and 3C Cargo as EX-27015 in 2024.

Actually my second time seeing this Antares Aviation aircraft, with the first occasion being over two years prior at Melbourne Orlando International Airport, just an hour drive away, along with its sister aircraft, N438BN.

Delivered to Singapore Airlines as 9V-SGG in 1979. To LACSA as TI-LRQ in 1982. Reregistered as N200LR in 1987. To Capitol Air Express in 1994 then to Sterling European Airways as OY-SCC in 1995. To Asia Pacific Airlines as N317NE then to Miami Heat as N727NK in 1999. To Roush Air Fenway Racing in 2007 then to Antares Aviation in 2019. Withdrawn from use at Ft. Pierce, FL in 2023.

New airline formed in February 1994 on the ruins of the old Sterling Airways. 4 of the original 727s were kept, and this one entered service in May 1995, showing the blue colours replacing the red colours of the former airline. First flight June 27th 1979 and delivered new to Singapore Airlines as 9A-SGG. July 10th 1979. April 1982 TI-LRQ for LACSA, rr N200LR December 1987 LACSA. August 1994 N200LR Capitol Air Express, leased for a few months. May 12th 1995 OY-SCC Sterling European Airlines. January 1999 N317NE, September 1999 N727NK rr. Op by diff. carriers until stored in Florida April 2023

Basic Sterling European Airlines livery

Stored at MLB. Originally with Singapore Airlines, LACSA Costa Rica, Sterling European Airlines. Brought over to the US in 1999 and flew around the Miami Heat (NBA Team) until 2007 where Roush Air LLC (Roush Fenway Racing) purchased the aircraft for transportation of the NASCAR team. It flew to MLB for storage in March, 2021.

The ex Miami Heat team aircraft is now operated by Roush Fenway Racing and in town for the NASCAR race. The weather was strange in PHX on this day, the whole morning it was CAVOK as usual, then in the afternoon suddenly the wind picked up and lots of sand was in the air and even a few thunderstorms passed close by, very rare for the month of November.

Became N727NK and operating for Florida Marlins baseball team in 2004. Operating for Roush Fenway Racing since January 2007 and current at date of upload.

Ex VASP PP-SMK, returned to lessor as N26729 7th March 1982 and leased to Alaska Airlines, then re-registered N293AS March 1986. Transferred to Express One March 1993
