Fuselage bought by Catalina Company NZ (owners of ZK-PBY) in Feb 2000, for spares use. Arrived at Ardmore in 2001 and stored as seen here. Trucked to Tauranga on 1 Aug 2007, on delivery to the Classic Flyers Museum. It was nicely restored in blue US Navy markings as "204" and placed on indoor display on 7 Mar 2009.

This Canadian built Catalina flew the last part of its carreer as an Aerial Survey aircraft for Geoterrex registered VH-EXG. From the end of 1987 the aircraft was stored at Melbourne Essendon before being obtained by the RAAF Museum in 2001. They restored the Cat to represent a former RAAF Catalina A24-104.

Delivered to the US Navy as Bu48412. To N10024, N96R, YV-P-EPX in 1959, YV-P-EPZ in 1961, YV-O-CFO-4, YV-56CP, YV-585CP, YV-485C and N7238Z. To Australia for preservation in 2013.

Sank at its moorings at Hayman Island on July 8, 1962. Hull rebuilt as a houseboat.

The Super Catalina STC replaced R-1830 engines with R-2600s which required a larger distinctive angular tail as seen here. This luxury private barge also includes rear stair, modified blister windows and what looks like weather radar on the right wing. Spot of engine trouble here judging by the removed cowlings. Sadly in 1972 it sank in the Mediterranean Sea off Monaco when the hull got holed.

VH-BRI's flying career ended when it sank at its moorings at Hayman Island on July 8, 1962. The fuselage was acquired by Vic O'Hara, who converted it to a houseboat. Named the Henrietta Hoh, it was kept at Shute Harbour.
