Built 1979, reg G-BHLN for McAlpine Aviation based at Luton. In seeptember 1983 rr G-MOXY opf Brown Air Services who started flying from Leeds to Fornebu in 1986. Was sadly written off in Blackbush on a positioning flight in April 1987 crf aviation-safety.net/wikibase/18562 Slide shot in the afternoon

At the time of this photograph fixed wing aircraft were allowed to land inside the Silverstone race circuit on what was one of the old WWII runways, and the Conquest had brought in passengers to attend the 1985 British F1 Grand Prix which was held there on the day. Tragically this aircraft was destroyed, and the pilot killed, on 26 April 1987 when it crashed at Blackbushe during a go-around initiated after an unsafe gear warning that was later found to be erroneous.
