One of many Caravelles with an interesting history. Starting in Oct 1965 to Syrian Arab as YK-AFA, donated to Air Mali as TZ-ADS in Sep 1980 with a lease to CTA in 1981, sold to Corse Air as F-GEPC in Feb 1984, leased to Air Calédonie International in Nov 1994 and sold to them 1986, to EAS October 1989, wfu LBG 1992 TT 37780, stored Dinard 1994, to Iberoamericana de Carga as HK-3962X and delivered via Faro in Nov 1994. Stored at BOG and w/o 4th Nov 1995 in hard landing on dry lake near Cabu San Lucas, Mexico carrying coacine and false reg HK-4029. Police cut off wings, aircraft buried in sand.

Leased from Air Mali for some 6 months. Because of my military service that year, I wasn't able to catch it any better.

Damaged beyond repair landing on dry lake bed near Cabo San Lucas, Mexico while on a drug running flight with fake reg HK-4029X in 1995. Destroyed by the Mexican Police.

Short lived Caravelle operator. This one was in use just in 1990 and 1991.

Ex Air Mali TZ-ADS, registered to Corse Air Aug 1983 and transferred to Air Caledonie Dec 1984. Went to Aero France March 1990

Aero France was founded in 1978 but operated smaller aircraft until their first Caravelle was delivered in Apr 89. This one was acquired in Mar 90. The airline was reported to have ceased operations in 1991.

Leased by the Swiss airline CTA for the summer of 1981, in this transitional livery.

F-GEPC represented a welcome return of the Caravelle to Australian skies after an absence of 20 years. In the 1960s, UTA operated one over a similar network to Air Calédonie and from the same base, Noumea.

F-GEPC flew with Air Calédonie International from December 1984 to December 1988. It was the second and final time Caravelles were used on regular services into Australia. UTA operated one (F-BNRA) in the 1960s, also from Noumea.
