Tu134 parked at the militairy ramp at Damascus, taken from the windows of another Syrian Tu134 heading to Aleppo.

All white, and unmarked B727, on the ramp at the main terminal in Damascus. According to the databases, it was operating for African Express Airways or Ishtar Airlines in November 2009.

We can see four Syrian AF An-26, two Syrian Arab Airlines An-26, two Syrian Arab Airlines Tu-134, a Syrian AF An-24, a Syrian Arab Airlines Il-76 in old c/s and one in new c/s, and a Boeing 707 (9Q-CWK). Further along more could be seen, including the Falcon 20s and Yakovlev 40s.

YK-AHB at left was delivered new to Syrian Air 07.76. Stored at Damascus from 12.07. Sister SP YK-AHA is at the right end of the terminal.

Delivered new to the Kuwait AF in February 1983

Just transferred from the airforce to the civil airline, Syrian Arab, and painted in the new colours, in 2005. What an amazing country this was !
