N7777G was parked at Coventry from 17 January to 7 March 1974, when it flew to Dublin and then to Tripoli on a cattle charter. On return to Dublin on March 10th it experienced a problem with the No. 3 engine and never flew again. (Most subsequent photos show it with the No. 3 prop removed.) In summer 1983 it was dismantled for transport to Wroughton for the Science Museum collection; it was reassembled there and painted into TWA livery. (Photographer not known.)

Delivered as PH-TET in 1947 then re-registered as above in 1954. Preserved in the UK as N7777G. See Photo ID: 56825 for full history.

Used to carry equipment for The Rolling Stones during their 1973 Pacific Tour, hence the nose art.

This aircraft is now preserved in the Science Museum collection at Wroughton, wearing TWA colours. In 1983 Aces High were considering restoring this one-time KLM Connie to airworthy condition. In the end it was dismantled and transported by surface to England.

Ex KLM Connie, beautifully preserved at the Wroughton Science Museum facility. Delivered to KLM in 1947, as PH-TET "Tilburg", later PH-LDT, and withdrawn from use Sep 1960. It was converted to freighter in 1962, then briefly carried TI-1045P in 1964 before becoming N7777G that same year. As such it saw service with many operators until impounded at Dublin in 1974, where it would remain for many years. Sold to Aces High in 1982 and registered as G-CONI, but reg never applied. The Science Museum acquired the aircraft and transported it from Dublin to Wroughton in July 1983. Restoration completed in Sep 1984 in TWA colours, even though it never flew for TWA.
