crashed 28 May 1994 when both engines failed 2 minutes after take-off while in service with Transoriente (photographer not known)

Built as 42-68825. To TWA as NC44998 in September 1945 and later N44998, operated by Northeast Airlines, Lake Central Airlines, Houston Aviation Products Corporation, Jefferson State Airlines and O'Hare International Airline before being impounded in Colombia in 1979. Operating with SELVA by 1980 and Transoriente by November 1992. Sadly crashed when both engines lost power on take off from Villavicencio 28 May 1994 killing all 29 on board.

Delivered to the USAAF as 41-18376 in 1942. Sold onto the civil register as N22421 in 1945 and exported to Avianca in Colombia in 1947 as C-122. Re-registered HK-122 in 1955 and later flew with El Venado and Aeronorte before joining Selva in 1980. Sold to Lineas Aereas El Dorado in 1995, with Aliansa by 1999 and finally Sadelca. Sold by them in 2011 and registered HK-122G, having survived 56 years operating in Colombia, she is believed to have been destroyed in Honduras in July 2011 at the end of a drug running flight.

Ex N9841F, bought by SELVA in 1984 from Southern Air Transport. SELVA acquired An-32s in 1994 and the C-46 was withdrawn and stored at Bogota for many years, eventually being broken up in 2019.

Sold to Constanta Airlines in the Ukraine in August 2021 as UR-UZL

Delivered to the USAAF as 42-3679 in 1944. To N67924 then to LAPSA as RX-136 then to the Israeli Air Force in 1948. To N9841F in 1959. To LACSA as TI-1053C in 1967 then back to N9841F in 1968. To Selva as HK-3150 in 1984. Sold in 1995 and stored at Bogota. Scrapped in 2019.

We had a pleasure flight between the mountains in it. It was Delivered to Stela as RA-48015 in 1993. To Selva as HK-3930X in 1994. Crashed in 1998.

A few days after this picture was taken the aircraft was re-registered HK-4009X (on the 10th Apr 1995). It reverted back to UR-48022 on the 17th Aug 2000 and later delivered to Sri Lankan Air Force as CR868
