First flight November 7th 1956 as G-AOHC. Delivered new to BEA in January 1957 as G-AOJC. In April 1974 it was merged into British Airways. October 1975 wfu at Cardiff, and it was on display at Wales Aircraft Museum, until it sadly was broken up in 1996. 19 years flying pax. First flight December 3rd 1952 and delivered new to BEA February 13th 1953. March 1964 Channel Airways, November 1964 a 6 months lease to British Eagle. February 1966 Cambrian Airways. December 1972 wfu at Cardiff aqfter 19 years flying as G-ALWF. April 1972 Viscount Preservation Trust. 1975 acquired by Duxford Aviation Society and beautifully restored to its original 1953 colours of BEA. Official BEA photo 7456. Original caption reads "BEA Viscount V.802 airliner in flight". G-AOHL was delivered 17 April 1957 and it is assumed the photo was taken on that occasion. Certainly an early shot as registrations were moved from the tail tip to below the red square from the early 1960's.

One of the first 800 series Viscounts for BEA, delivered in February 1957 and wfu at Liverpool in April 1976. Ended its days there as a fire trainer, used until 1989 when the remains were broken up. The original intention had been to register BEA's first six Viscount 800s as G-AOHA to G-AOHF but these were changed to G-AOJA to G-AOJF, with the G-AOH. series starting at G

Built at Brooklands and making its first flight on Christmas Eve 1959, BEA's fourth Vanguard was delivered in January 1961 and broken up at Heathrow in May 1973

First flown in November 1961 it was delivered to BEA at Heathrow as V.953 Vanguard "Superb" on 13th December 1961. During 1970/71 it was converted as a V.953C Merchantman and re-delivered to BEA Cargo, (renamed British Airways Cargo on 1st April 1974), on 8th March 1971. Sold to Air Bridge Carriers, (Hunting Air Cargo from 1992), in November 1979, it was stored at East Midlands Airport until entering service in 1981. When retired in September 1996 it was the last airworthy Merchantman, and made its last flight on 17th October 1996 when it was donated to the Brooklands Museum by Hunting PLC.
