Climbing away from Runway 08 at Red Lake on a scheduled Bearskin service. Carries its construction number on the nose wheel door. Delivered new to Kendell Airlines in 1995 as VH-KEX. Then served with REX and Sunshine Express Airlines before becoming C-GJVW of Bearskin Airlines in 2012. Joined Perimeter Aviation of Winnipeg in 2018.

Bearskin operated this Beech 99 1989 - 2007. Updating previous histories of this aircraft, National Aerotech Aviation stored the aircraft at Cherokee County Regional Airport (KCNI) in Georgia as N102NA until sold to Trans Island Air 2000 and registered 8P-DCA in 2017. The airline was re-starting operations in 2017, but shut down a year later with the aircraft stored at Grantley Adams International Airport, Barbados.

Originally operating with Mesaba Airlines (N442MA) 1989 - 1997, this Metro next moved to Sioux Falls, SD based Air Cargo Masters. Bearskin Airlines bought the aircraft in 2006 and registered it C-GYXL In 2018 the Exchange Income Corporation (owner of Bearskin) merged the airline with another of it's subsidiaries (Perimeter Aviation). Although Bearskin Airlines no longer exists as a legal entity, the Bearskin brand of service continues to operate within the new larger Perimeter Aviation.

Registered N27239 to Textron Financial in December 1988, this Metro was delivered to Mesaba Airlines on lease. The airline re-registered the aircraft N438MA the following July. Returned to Textron in 1997, it was placed on a short lease to Merlin Express (August 1997 - March 1998). Exported to Canada and registered C-FAMC, it was leased to Go Air Citylink (Air Montreal) 1998 - 2001 and Tal Air before Bearskin Airlines bought it in 2003.

Built in 1997, imported in 1998 and exported as N37DA in 2004. After some time spent as ZS-IPP, it is USA based again as N562DM in 2023.

Delivered new in 1974 for Henson Airlines, imported in 1988 and cancelled in 2001 as withdrawn from use.

Delivered new to Hood Airlines as N10HA in 1969 then imported into Canada in 1980. Exported as V2-SLU in 2008 and as HH-APA it was wrecked on 20 September 2011 when it crashed into a sugar cane field near Milot, Haiti.

Bearskin Lake Air Services was founded in 1963 to provide charter services to First Nations reserves in northern Ontario. In the late 1970s the operation moved from bush planes to small commuter airliners to service growing scheduled services operating as Bearskin Airlines. This 1974 Aztec was registered to Thunder Bay Flying School before coming to Bearskin 1997 - 2001. The airline became a regional carrier when it sold the First Nations routes to Wasaya Airways in 2003. Current since 2007 with Quebec based construction company Air Vision / Les Ateliers Fermontois at the time of uploading.
