This Alouette III in fact is 770301. It had been preserved here as such at least until 2018 (Air History has pics of the helicopter with its original serial). No idea why they changed the identity. The c/n plate shows that it really is 770301. This photo was made after sunset when the museum's lights illuminate the aircraft.

Around 1960 is was operating from Kisarazu AB in Japan, where it was struck of charge on 16 February 1961. In that same month, it was transferred to the RoKAF. The history of this Tracker remains a mystery. It is supposed to be former USN 136595 which was delivered to the JMSDF as 4108 in 1957 and was last noted there in 1976. In 1978, it appeared in the US civil register as N207AK (to be used as fire bomber by the State of Alaska), but apparently it was never taken up as such. In 1995, it emerged in the Seoul war memorial, initially with serial 6707, which is former USN Tracker 136707 (c/n 616). Some reports indicate that the latter aircraft indeed was delivered to the RoKAF in 1972 and later went to the navy. So 6595 might be fake.

This aircraft is a bit of a mystery. 82536 is a T-6F with US s/n 44-82536 that indeed was delivered to South Korea. However, (parts of) the airframe are from a Canadian built Noorduyn Harvard as can be seen from the frame separating the front and the rear cockpit.

This aircraft is a bit of a mystery. 82536 is a T-6F with US s/n 44-82536 that indeed was delivered to South Korea. However, (parts of) the airframe are from a Canadian built Noorduyn Harvard as can be seen from the frame separating the front and the rear cockpit.

The real 49-1236 shot down a MiG-15 over Korea on 17 December 1950 (when operated by 334th FIS), and later was shot down itself by a MiG-15 near Sinanju, North Korea on 24 October 1951. Another fake 49-1236, in exactly the same markings and colours, is preserved in the USAF Museum at Wright-Patterson AFB, Oh. The real identity of the latter aircraft is known (49-1067). The identity of the aircraft in the Seoul War Memorial Museum is not known (afaik).
