This C-47 served with the 9th AF in WW2 and took part in both the D-Day and Market Garden operations in 1944. Post-war, it was based in West Germany until 1954, when it was based at Rabat, Morocco before moving again to Wheelus AB, Libya in 1956. After further service in the USA, it was retired in 1964. It was relegated to the Aberdeen Proving Grounds for target use but survived this to be used by the US Army as a training aid for CH-54 helicopters. When it was no longer required for this role, it was saved and, in October 1986, flown as an underslung load to Dover for permanent preservation.

After a post-military career as a fire-bomber with Hemet Valley Flying Service, registered N13746, this machine was preserved at Edwards AFB, CA from 1991. It was dismantled and airlifted to Dover AFB aboard a C-5M Galaxy on 19 December 2016, on delivery to the Air Mobility Command Museum. It is the second-oldest C-119 in existence and the only surviving aircraft from the operation that air-dropped mobile bridge sections to US Marines during the Battle of Chosin Reservoir. in the Korean War.

This A26 is on display as 44-35523, cn 28802, ex-N3428G and is often misidentified. In fact, the frame is 44-35552, cn 28831, ex N5544V.

This C-5A was about to acquire a repaint, as six months later it was on display in the basic white MAC scheme.

This Flying Boxcar was delivered new to the RCAF as a C-119F with the serial 22118. It was coverted to a C-119G and flew for a short time for the UN. After retirement by the RCAF in 1965 it was converted to an air tanker and given the US registration N3559. The museum has restored the plane to resemble a USAF plane flying with the 512th Airlift Wing, which used Boxcars from 1957-1965. The painted serial is the one that would (most probably) have been assigned had the plane been ordered by the USAF, instead it was allocated to serial was originally assigned to a F-86F.

Delivered to the USAAF as 44-9030 as a C-54E in 1945. Renamed to the USAF in 1947. Converted to a C-54M. To the FBI Academy, Quantico, VA for use as a ground trainer in 1973 then to the AMC Museum in 1989.

Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB with park code CP079 in 1982. To the US Department of State as N97033 in 1987. Returned to the USAF as 54-658 in 1990 and preserved at Dover AFB.
