Preserved at Asuncion, not-visible from outside the airfield, but well kept inside this hangar is this former South African Air Force Texan (serial 7699), with aerobatic code 2 on the tail.

Same storyline as with code "1". The real "0123/2" of team Ara Sunú was said to be the one sold to the United States as N3172H in 1991. Also, most of the former South African Texans were already composite airframes and various versions of the previous identity of this "2" have been mentioned (ex 7699, ex 7706 or ex Brazil 1311.) Take your pick... (and no, I did not check this one either...)

The real "0119/1" of team Ara Sunú was said to be the one sold to the United States as N3171R in 1991. Also, most of the former South African Texans were already composite airframes and various versions of the previous identity of this "1" have been mentioned (ex 7700, ex 7711 or ex Brazil 1389.)
