First flight March 5th 1968 as N12826, and deliverd April 1st 1968 to American Flyers Airline. May 1971 TF-FIA Icelandair - Flugfelag Islands, named "Solfaxi". October 1979 TF-FLG rr New Icelandair - Flugleidir October r 31st 1989 TF-FLG sold to UPS. September 1990 N940UP United Parcel Service, ship 940. Re-engined with new RR Tay 651-54 engines. July 2008 Broken up. Seen taxing to depart rwy 24 this friday. Mind the starboard side of the B727-100 :) This was my final shot and sight of thes 727 which was at least a weekly sight since 1971.
