October 1979 TF-FLG rr New Icelandair - Flugleidir October r 31st 1989 TF-FLG sold to UPS. September 1990 N940UP United Parcel Service, ship 940. Re-engined with new RR Tay 651-54 engines. July 2008 Broken up. Seen taxing to depart rwy 24 this friday. Mind the starboard side of the B727-100 :) This was my final shot and sight of thes 727 which was at least a weekly sight since 1971.

October 1979 the new Icelandair ("Flugleidir") was after the merger between Flugfelag Islands and Loftleidir, and rr to TF-FLG. In 1982 TF-FLG was repainted to the new Icelandair livery, with new name "Heimfari". 31st October 1989 sold to UPS and converted for cargo. April 1990 N940UP UPS ship 940, and re-enginged with two new RR Tay 651-54. Scrapped 2008.

Sold to Icelandair as TF-FIA on 18 May 1971 and reregistered to TF-FLG on 01 Oct 1979. To UPS as N940UP Oct 1990. WFU at Roswell, NM by Aug 2007. Registration cancelled on 11 Jul 2008 and the aircraft has been scrapped.

This 727 was originally delivered to American Flyers Airline as N12826 in April 1968. It went to Icelandair as TF-FIA in May 1971, being reregistered TF-FLG in October 1979. The plane underwent freighter conversion in October 1990, subsequently flying with UPS as N940UP but was scrapped at Roswell (ROW) sometime after August 2007.

This 727 was originally delivered to American Flyers Airline as N12826 in April 1968. It went to Icelandair - Flugfelag Islands in May 1971 as TF-FIA and re-registered as TF-FLG in October 1979. The frame was bought by UPS in October 1989 and flew with the airline until the registration was cancelled in September 1990, after which it was scrapped.
