this Flogger-G was comissioned in May 1979 and went on to serve with the 1. and 11. stíhací letecký pluk (1st and 11th Fighter Air Regiment). The plane made its last flight on October 5, 1994 and after landing at Kbely was transferred to the museum. It is a real pity that it is so cramped in the hangar.

This Fishbed-H, the recconnaisance version, was delivered in January 1969 and flew for almost all of its service life with the 28. stíhací bombardovací letecký pluk (28th Fighter Bomber Air Regiment) at Pardubice. It was retired in January 1995 when it was flown to the Letecké Muzeum Kbely for display. Sorry, the plane is so cramped and cluttered, even by the standards of this hangar.

The VZLÚ Tom-8 (Výzkumný a zkušební letecký ústav - Czech Aerospace Research Centre} was the last Czechoslovak design of a training military aircraft with a piston engine. The programme was cancelled and TOM-8 was rescued in very bad condition from the Children's Psychiatric Hospital in Opařany in July 1967, where it was used to entertain the patients. Unfortunately, during restoration the original unique Praga M-208C engine and electrically adjustable V-421 propeller were lost and were replaced by similar ones from a L-60 Brigadyr.

The A-12 served reliably in the Czechoslovak AF for many years and although 94 were built, no original machine has survived. Therefore, this faithful replica of the A-12 was built in the Trenčín Aviation Repair Works between 1980-82 using original documentation and with a Maybach engine and an original Aero propeller. It is on displayat the Letecké Muzeum Kbely in the standard three-color camouflage from the 1920s, with the badge of Letecky pluk 3 (3rd Air Regiment), which operated at Nitra and from 1928 at Piestany.

The BH-11 prototype first took off on June 17, 1924. The primary customer was the Czechoslovak Air Force, which used the type under the designation B-11, Bš-11 (trainer) and Bk-11 (courier). The BH-11C was the sports version and L-BONK won the air races in the mid-1920s, firstly in Paris and then the Coppa d'Italia, the prestigious race around Rome. It then flew for the Aeroklub Pilsen (as OK-IZZ?) and was stored in the repository of the Museum of West Bohemia, where its condition slowly deteriorated over time. A restoration was completed in 1968 and the plane is now (almost) on display.

The development of a Czech light multi-purpose helicopter began at the end of the 1950s. Hover test flights of the Zlin XZ-35 prototype established that the design was quite successful but that a more powerful engine was required. Installation of the larger, more powerful six-cylinder Avia M-337 engine necessitated the ugly bulge in the nose and the design was named Z-135. It was looking goob but then the Czechoslovak government decided to stop all helicopter development in the country. In 1974 this sinle prototype was handed over to the Letecké Muzeum Kbely for display.

This plane was originally constructed as a DC-3 and delivered to Pan American World Airways in October 1937 as NC18119. It is perhaps more familar as the C-47 that sat on the the grass at Prague airport as the retro CSA aircraft OK-XDM. It is a new exhibit to the Kbely museum but in these fake markings.
