During this time she acquired the name 'Petulant Porpoise' and became the last Widgeon to be retired from USN service in 1954. Subsequently traded between various museums, she arrived at the Pima Air & Space museum in 1987 for display.

The McCulloch MC-4 tandom-rotor helicopter was evaluated by the US Army as the YH-30 and the Navy as XHUM-1. It was found to be underpowered so no orders were forthcoming, nevertheless, an interesting piece of aviation history to be seen at the super Pima Air & Space Museum.

The BD-4 is one of the first true homebuilt aircraft, meaning that the buyer did not just receive a set of plans rather the entire kit with all the parts needed to build a complete plane. The first kits were sold in 1968 and the aircraft remains popular today even though the kits are no longer available. Originally with the USAF as 63-13501 (rebuilt by General Dynamics from RB-57D 53-3975), this aircraft was transferred to NASA as 925. She arrived at AMARG during Sep 1982 and migrated across the road to the Pima Air & Space Museum where she was photographed in the restoration compound.
