The first Botha seen here devoid of markings save for its serial. It would subsequently receive the standard dark green/dark earth camouflage and roundels. After its operational life it became a ground instruction aircraft with maintenance serial 2217M. The Botha saw little operational service and was quickly allocated to training roles.
