The Rolls-Royce Nene-powered Attacker F.1 was the Royal Navy's first jet fighter. WA473 was delivered in 07.51 and served 800, 702 and 736 Squadrons of the FAA. Retired in 1956 and displayed at the gate of RNAS Abbotsinch before moving to the FAA Museum.
