First flew in October 1977 and delivered in February 1979, as a GR1 model. Upgraded to GR1A and GR3A in later years, serving with 6 Sqn at Coltishall at least from the early nineties until November 2005. Stored at Bentwaters and eventually shipped to the USA in 2014 for the museum. On display since, in first Gulf War desert pink coating with just M on the nosewheel door. Last tailcode was EQ for a few months but it was EM for many years before that.

In a giant effort the last surviving Beverley was transported from Fort Paul near Hull all the way up to Scotland. It had to be dismantled for this journey. In the year to come the museum staff will puzzle the aircraft together again to become another major exhibit in this collection.
