Taxiing out from its Howey Bay dock at the 2000 Red Lake Norseman Festival. Modified much earlier with panoramic widows and a metal skinned fuselage. Built as USAAF UC-64A 43- 5376. Carried out work in South America in the 1950s and '60s. Became N47801 in 1971. Exported to Canada in 1981 as C-FKAS. Rebuilt after a 1995 crash in the Gulf Islands, BC, when a float strut failed and it cartwheeled and sank. Joined West Caribou Air Service at Staunton Lake, Ontario in 1997. The metal fuselage allowed detailed murals to be painted on both sides.

Flying low over the Channel from Lake Spenard to touch down at its Lake Hood base. Built as an L-20A for the US Army, delivered in 1959 as 58-1984. Began its civil career in 1976 as N67678. In 1994 became N345KA of Ketchum Air Service. Joined Seawind Aviation of Ketchikan in 2005.
