Dumped at Hal Far airfield in Malta.

The registration is a matter of contention. First registered XA-TDR in Oct 1994 (ex Mexican Air Force ETP-10024), it was "assigned" N48AW in 1998. It is however unclear if it was 'officially' registered as such. For sure the US registration was never painted on and it remained in storage displaying its Mexican registration. Sadly broken up in Nov 2007.

Delivered new to USAF as 53-3299 2nd Dec 1955 and sold as N380AT 12th May 1976. Sold to LAC Colombia as HK-1702 13th Nov 1977 and transferred to Air Colmbia some time in 1986. Crashed shortly after take off from SKBO (Bogota) 10th Feb 1991

Built in 1952 and originally named Clipper Plymouth Rock, but renamed as above after a period of being leased out. In 1967 it was converted to C-118A standard and flew with the Fuerza Aerea de Chile as 987. In 1992 it was acquired by Woods Air Fuel as N861TA and burnt out in a take-off crash from Nixon Fork Mine, AK on 2 January 1998. McIntyre labeled this as N6117C which it clearly is not. All I have to go on is 22C on the n/w door. Since N6522C and N7822C existed at the same time I compared names and since N7822C was Clipper Undaunted, I went with Clipper Hanover as its length fits that on the image better.

Built in 1958 for Aaxico Airlines and here in service with TCA. On 23 April 1965 it flew into a glacier on Mount Rainier/WA while at 10,000 feet.

Flew with Alitalia from new in 1953 until sale to SAM in 1961. Transferred to the military as MM61965 and withdrawn from use by 1980.

Built for Hunting-Clan in 1958 and here with BUA and still retaining the H-C red fin. In 1968 it flew with Air Ferry then was exported as HB-IBS in 1969. In 1982 it became C-GIBS with Conair and was converted to a forest fire retardant bomber. Current in 2021 as N851CE with Everts Air Cargo in Alaska.
