One of the founding aircraft of Tony Osborne's British Historic Aircraft Museum. Arrived from Elstree on 19 March 1967. Sadly, this museum came to nought but was resurrected as the Historic Aircraft Museum (Southend) in 1972. By that time NP339/G-AOBW had been vandalised and it was scrapped in 1970. It donated its outer wings to G-ANZJ. This rear fuselage section survived for a time and is seen here displayed in the museum in September 1973.

Flew into Southend from Calais on 1st June 1972 and installed in the Historic Aircraft Museum. Reported at the time as built in Prague in 1943, ex-OE-ADR. Doubts at the time over its c/n, quoted as either "3812" or "110094" ex-Swedish AF Fv3812". Seen here after recent application of Luftwaffe colours as "CB-VD". Sold for £24,000 at the Philip's auction on 10th May 1983 when the museum closed. Displayed at the Whitehall Theatre of War and then sold to Kermit Weeks for his Fantasy of Flight Museum.
