The oldest airworthy Tiger in Australia, this rare pre-War, UK-built example was registered in Australia new as VH-UVZ on 12 August 1938 to Airflite Ltd. of Mascot. It crashed into Sydney Harbour in 1937, but was re-built and later impressed into the RAAF in August 1940 as A17-691. In 1947 it was restored to the civil Register as VH-BBP, later becoming VH-PCD before being withdrawn from use in July 1961.
