Delivered to SILA as SE-BBC in 1946. To SAS as OY-DFY then to Colombia as FAC613 in 1954. Reserialled as FAC690 in 1957. Withdrawn from use in 1984. Preserved by 1994. The museum reopened at a new location in Parque Jaime Duque, Tocancipá in 2017.

"The Flying Dutchman" in what probably is the final resting place for this bird. It has quite some history behind it, also having flown for the DDA back in The Netherlands and the "-DDS" can still be seen above the right cockpit window, as this aircraft used to be the PH-DDS. Right now, the stabilizer is totally shot up, holes everywhere and a bit of a sad sight.

About a week and a half before our departure to South Africa, we found out that Skyclass would operate their DC-4 from O.R. Tambo to the airshow Swartkop AFB. About 1,5h after finding out, our seats were booked and we ended up being able to reserve seats 1A and 2A, which was right where we hoped to be. As we approached the airfield, we made a low pass before circling to land. Outside you can see the flightline and a lot of early visitors. Photo taken from seat 2A.

The post-war built DC-4 taxies on its inboard P&W's towards Heathrow North on arrival from Le Bourget. She served Air France from June 1946 until March 1966, except for a two-year break with Air Gabon as TR-LKA.

Converted to a Carvair for Ansett-ANA.

Originally built for Northwest Airlines in 1946 and here operating with Transair on DEW-line resupply flights for NORAD. It went to the US in the early 1970s and was later painted in USAF markings for a movie about the Berlin Airlift in 2002. After the movie it spent many years in open storage until scrapped at North Weald, Essex, England in 2015.

In fake markings, with a serial based on the aircraft's c/n. After years of storage at Avra Valley, AZ, this aircraft was flown to North Weald in late Sep 2002, together with C-54Q N44914 seen parked behind. Both were intended for use in a movie about the Berlin Airlift, but this project was cancelled and neither aircraft flew again. N31356 was eventually broken up here 13 years later, in early Dec 2015. Its forward fuselage was trucked out to the RAF Burtonwood Heritage Centre (part of the Gulliver's World theme park) near Warrington on 9 Dec 2015. N44914 was still at North Weald by Jun 2018.

Originally VH-TAC (1) with TAA, later VH-BPA with BCPA, VH-EBL with QANTAS, VH-INY(2) with Ansett-ANA, ZS-IGB with Marine Diamond Mines. The aircraft finally went to Suidwes Lugdiens in 1973 and cannibalised at Eros Airport in late 1977.

Acquired by the Colombian AF in March 1954 and became FAC690. Withdrawn from use in 1984 and stored at Bogotá. At the Museo Aeroespacial Colombiano by April 1990. The museum and its aircraft were moved to Briceño in the Cundinamarca district between Oct 2015 and Aug 2017.
