On display in the Presidential Gallery at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. This short body T-39A Sabreliner with two triangular windows is one of ten Presidential aircraft in the gallery. Retrofitted to a VIP configuration, it was used by former President Lyndon B. Johnson from 1968 to 1973 to travel to his ranch. Later, it flew as an avionics and communication test bed. It went to the museum in October 1984. One can see the air brake extended behind the nose wheel.

This T-39A was used by former president Lyndon Johnson from August 1968 through January 1973. It was based at Bergstrom AFB not far from his ranch. It had a special VIP interior for six passengers and three crew. After President Johnson died in 1973 the a/c continued to be used for high level government travel. Transferred to the museum in October 1984. It is on display in the Presidential Aircraft Gallery.
