This was in fact the original aircraft as depicted in the picture. It was however sold to a private operator in Alaska Dec 55 as N4752C. It later received a major avionics upgrade. In Apr 70 it went to Northern Air Cargo. There were further avionics and structural upgrades in the 70s. It crashed short of the runway at Nelson Lagoon AK 4 Nov 82 and was substantially damaged. Repaired and operated until 1 Jan 85. Ferried to the museum at Wright Field 30 Jun 88 as N4752C.

Only a handful of Packets remain in the world. This one is well preserved and spends its days outside at the US Air Force museum in Dayton, OH
