Built in 1961 and delivered to Western as N93144; to Air Malta in March 1979 and served until October 1987. The aircraft was then bought by the AAR Corporation as N210DS and flown to Marana, AZ, where it was stripped of useful parts and later scrapped. Photographer not known.

Established in March 1973, Air Malta chartered British European to operate its flights. In April 1974, the airline began doing the flying (with the help of Pakistan International Airlines) using two wet leased Boeing 720s. In 1978 / 79, the airline purchased the Pakistani aircraft and bought three more Boeing 720s from Western Airlines. Pictured is former N93144 delivered in March 1979. The aircraft was sold in November 1987 and broken up for parts (for the USAF KC-135E program) in Marana, AZ.
