slide scan from the NK collection. - Great Northern operated a total of seven Electras between 1976 and 1980, including two aircraft which were leased from Zantop. This ex-Western Airlines aircraft kept its registration with several follow-on operators and was withdrawn from service in 1989. The last airline to use it was Spirit of America Airlines; the Electra was scrapped at Greenville in 1993.

Zantop 1980, multiple leases to Channel Express from 1991 until 1997. Withdrawn Willow Run 1997, scrapped 2006.

N341HA was seen in storage at Detroit / Willow Run in 1997, still with a green cheatline after its lease to Channel Express between 1991 and 1994. The Electra was broken up in 2007.

Ex Hawaiian Airlines. In the 90s it was leased several times to Channel Express Air Services (UK).

Former American Airlines and McCulloch International as N6131A. Registered as 0693 of the Argentinean Navy in 1973, named "Río Grande". Then as 5-T-3 "Río Grande" of the 5th Aeronaval Squad. WFU in 1995. In 1997 it was moved to private location in the Buenos Aires province (Camino de Cintura / Route #4 and 9 de Abril road) where it is preserved at a private property. It is visible from the road.

Still in Zantop colours on a very murky day at Maastricht. The red was changed to green at some point later.

This Electra would be withdrwan from use the following month and ferried to Willow Run for storage.

I sure miss the corrosion corner. An Electra with a DC6 and a DC7 behind it.
