Delivered to American Airlines as N6126A in 1960. To McCulloch International Airlines in 1970. To American Jet Industries and converted to an L-188A(F) freighter then to Great Northern Airlines an N404GN in 1977. To Fleming International Airways as N669F in 1980 but still in Great Northern colours when this photo was taken. Fleming were renamed to CAM Air International in 1983 who merged into Spirit of America Airlines in 1986. To Air Bridge Carriers in 1988 then to Fred Olsen as LN-FOL in 1991. WFU at Coventry in 1997. To Atlantic Airlines as G-LOFG in 2000. Not applied and scrapped in 2011.

Stored out of use when photographed, it was re-registered G-LOFG to Atlantic Transport in June 2000 but never flew in those marks or even had them applied as it was used for spares reclamation and finally fire training.

An infrequent visitor to CMH, this ex AA Electra is taxiing to 28R for departure.

Ordinarily it's a bad thing to lose the sun just as you take the shot, but the snow covered ground below and diffuse light produced a pleasing result.
