Made its first flight 19th Oct 1982 as G-SCHH and leased to the RAF as ZD696 14th June 1983, then to Dan-Air as G-SCHH 29th June 1984. Became VH-NJY with Australian Airlink 26th July 1991

Flying for various Australian companies since 1991 this aircraft ended its Australian days in September 2005 with National Jet Systems in the colours of QANTASLink. The aircraft was sold to Philippine airline Asian Spirit but eventualy ended up in Indonesia where it was permanently withdrawn from use at Jakarta-Pondok Cabe.

G-SCHH returns from another demonstration flight. The Ansett group bought 17 146s for use in Australia and New Zealand and for night cargo. More than 50 146s and RJs have been registered in Australia.

G-SCHH was demonstrated to airlines and the media during its Australian visit in 1982. In 1983 it joined the RAF as ZD696 but was back as G-SCHH by mid 1984. It returned to Australia as VH-NJY in 1991.
