After Air Canada purchased 85% of Air BC in 1987, the airline solidified it's presence as a major regional carrier with additional DHC-8s and later BAe-146s. This Dash 8 was delivered in August 1986 but leased back to DHC for short demonstrations to Air Ontario, Henson Airlines and Metro Express Airlines. Back with Air BC March 1987, it remained in the fleet (Air BC / Air Canada Regional / Air Canada Jazz) until retired in 2016. The aircraft was stored at North Bay, ON and scrapped in the summer of 2016.

Air BC leased this Dash 7 from De Havilland Canada from May 1985 to March 1988. Pictured in previous owner Henson Airlines' Piedmont Commuter colors with an Air BC Tail, the aircraft would get full Air BC colors on the fuselage before return to DHC. Later operated by Paradise Island Airlines 1989 - 93 as N780MG, it was sold to AirKenya Express (5Y-BMP) in 1997. Transferred to subsidiary Regional Air Services (5H-BMP) of Tanzania 2008 - 11, it is current back with AirKenya at the time of uploading.

Pictured several months after delivery (June 12) and like the other Air BC BAe-146s, C-FBAF would move to Air Canada Regional / Jazz when when Air Canada connectors merged in 2002. Retired in 2005, it was sold to Tronosjet Maintenance Inc who own or manage a fleet of approximately 20 BAe 146s. Stored in Halifax (and registered C-GCUP in late 2008) until placed with Minera San Cristobal, a mining company in Bolivia. The aircraft was registered CP-2634 in January 2010.

This Grumman Goose was photographed at Stewart Airport (CZST) while operating scheduled service to Prince Rupert. In the early 1980s, Jim Pattison Industries bought and merged several coastal airlines to form Air BC, including Trans-Provincial Airlines (TPA) which flew C-FEFN in this yellow colour scheme. When Air BC added new Dash 7 routes, most of its seaplane services (except DHC-6 routes) were transferred TPA, which became separate airline again. Steward is at the head of the Portland Canal which forms part of the border with SE Alaska. It is the northernmost coastal community in BC.
