Lovely fly-in visitor to the Narromine Airshow from Gunnedah. First registered in Australia on 1 April 2004.

Charlie Camilleri's Albatros made its first post-restoration public appearance at the Narromine Airshow. Unfortunately it went u/s after refuelling in Dubbo on the morning of the air display and thus didn't get to be seen by most visitors to the show. First registered on 30 March 2007.

This aircraft is the importer's first demonstrator, and the first of type in Australia. It made its first flight on 1 Aug 07 at Redcliffe, Qld. and its first public appearance two days later at the Wide Bay International Airshow. Photographed here at the Narromine Airshow.

An interesting juxtaposition: less than 40 years apart in design. Spirit Of Flight / Wright Bros Aircraft Inc. 01 was constructed at Narromine from modern plans generated from original plans drawn by the Wright Brothers for the Short Brothers in 1909. Qantas Connies used to come to Narromine for crew training fifty years ago. Two aircraft types with a lot of history behind them. Arranged here as a backdrop for the evening's entertainment following the Narromine Airshow.

Awaiting the Narromine Airshow on the morrow. This aircraft was built in 1951 for Qantas Empire Airways and registered VH-EBT. Sold to Fiji Airways in 1954, becoming VQ-FAP. In 1961 it was repatriated back to Australia and registered under its current identity. Currently with Charlie Camilleri at Bathurst.

This importer's demonstrator only had a handfull of hours on it when it made an appearance at the Narromine Airshow, having flown non-stop from the Gold Coast. First registered on 25 June 2007.

The oldest airworthy aeroplane in Australia, this was also the first Moth to be exported from the UK, being first registered in Australia as G-AUAE on 5 November 1925 to the Civil Aviation Branch, Department of Defence. It was re-registered as VH-UAE in 1930. In later years it was re-built to DH-60G standard and is preserved in immaculate condition today at Walcha, NSW. Seen here at the Narromine Airshow.
