Built 1974 as a Tu-154A, later converted to Tu-154B standard. Delivered new to Balkan in 1974 and operated until it was damaged when it ran off runway at Varna May 6th 1992. Balkan flew regular weekly flights mostly to Gardermoen, and this was a rare visit to FBU, and also my first shot of Balkan in new colours.

First flight March 19th 1969 at Renton. Delivered to CP Air as CF-CPV March 24th 1969, 1979 C-FCPV rr, stioll CP Air. January 12th 1987 C-FCPV Canadian Pacific Airlines tfd, April 26th 1987 Canadian Airlines International renamed. May 7th 1988 N197JQ Braathens SAFE (leased) and painted as Sommerflyet 1988, with a few flowers on forward fuselage. Ca August 1988 repainted to stanadrd BU colours, named "Olav den Hellige". April 1992 F-WGTP Air Service Nantes, October 1992 F-GGTP rr, leased to Pacific Airlines. 1996 TC-RAF, 1997 F-GCTA and 1998 C-FGWJ Westjet. 2002 wfu, stored and preserved.

Built in 1970 and registered to Ministic Air of Winnipeg on 21 April 1988. Withdrawn from use and parted out in 1997. Because of the registration it was inevitably known locally as "Fat Romeo".

Delivered new 10th March 1988 and leased during winter to Canada 3000 as C-FXOC for many years, then to Royal Airlines as C-FRYL in winter 1998/99. Became C-FTDV with Skyservice 30th May 2003 and to FedEx as N913FD 4th Nov 2008

Delivered new to Inex Adria Airways 16th May 1973, re-branded as Adria Airways May 1986. Leased to British Midland as G-BMWD 12th Oct 1986-14th Apr 1988, then operated in basic BMA livery with Adria titles as YU-AJF during the summer and returned on lease to British Midland 31st Oct 1988-12th Apr 1990. Re-registered SL-ABH 26th Dec 1991 and S5-ABH 15th March 1993

Photographed at the Derwent Dam, the occasion was the 45th Anniversary of the Dams Raid by Lancasters of 617 Squadron. At the time PA474 was painted as 103 Squadron 'Mike squared'.

VH-WAP was registered in June 1958.

About to roll on runway 34.

In hybrid colours consisting of Tarom tail markings with small Ryanair fuselage titles.

Arrived in Australia as N75WR and entered the Australian register as VH-FDR flying with the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

Another surprise at Adelaide. Became VH-PHO shortly after this photo was taken.
