LN-SFT was owned and operated by Fjellanger-Widerøe operating on behalf of both Statens forurensingstilsyn (Norwegian Pollution Control Authority) and the Norwegian Coast Guard. The aircraft was written off in an accident on 20 June 2008 in the sea just off Bergen Airport.

Bombardier used this Dash 8-202 as a employee shuttle between its facilities in Montreal (CYUL) and Downsview between about 1999 and 2012 (?) when it was replaced by a Dash 8-400. This aircraft was originally built for Mesa Airlines but never delivered. It was repainted in these colours when the Dash 8 was rebranded the "Q Series" to highlight the new active noise and vibration system (NVS) installed on new aircraft to reduce interior cabin noise. Bombardier also painted a Q300 (green) and Q400 (blue) in similar markings. It was sold to Sierra Nevada Corp. in 2012 and now flies for the USAF.
