Several of these made technical stops here in the late 1970s to early 1980s. Since they were based in NY State, one wonders what they were doing so far away from home. Could they have been on lease to the US Military in Alaska before they had their own? This one was scrapped at Dodson Aircraft Parts by 1993.

Built in 1981 and here wearing yellow hardware store type stick-on decals for the registration. It later became N906BA and was cancelled as expired in 2019, possibly as a result of a training accident at Linden/NJ on 17 June 2010.

This is the 3000th model 108 and it was built in 1947/48. Since production started in 1946 this gives some idea how fast they were being churned out. The registration expired on 30 July 2022, possible as a result of a ground loop at Prescott/AZ on 29 June 2005.

Current in 2022 based in Kentucky. The brick complex is the original Trans Canada Airlines base built in 1937. All airframe, systems and powerplant servicing was carried out on Lockheed 10, 14 and 18 aircraft plus the DC-3. After WW-II the North Atlantic Air Ferry Service terminal at Dorval/QC became the basis for TCA overseas operations flying the North Star and Constellation. Eventually this became the Air Canada base for all aircraft after the Viscount, which was the final type handled at Winnipeg.

Built in 1980 and presumably on a promo tour at the time. It has what looks like a munitions hard point on the side and actually went to the Swedish military as Hkp9 serial 09076. In 1991 it appeared on the UK register as a 105DB-4 G-BTKL and is current as such in 2022 registered to a Swiss based aerial photo company.
