This is the second LN-BIF and was delivered to the USAAF on 26 February 1944. Less than 14 months later it was struck off charge and sold on the civilian market in April 1945. It arrived in Norway as N51324 in June 2002. It was later repainted in the wartime colours used by the Norwegian Air Forces in Canadian exile.

Italian P-26 Peashooter lookalike! The original Ba.27 was actually inspired by a Travel Air Model R racing aircraft purchased by Italy. This is the second Ba 27 prototype, completely redesigned and of metal construction. The Italian air force showed little interest and test pilot Ambrogio Colombo took the monoplane fighter to Norway for demonstrations in September 1934 (not in 1939 as indicated by the Norwegian national library). This Handley Page O/400 heavy bomber, ex J2252, was fitted with ten passenger seats without windows in 1919 and flown to Norway via Holland and Denmark. It drew large crowds and over 100 people made a flight during demonstrations at Kjeller army airfield. Note the irregular lettering and the roundel shining through the civilian paint. This aircraft was destroyed in a fire at Geiteryggen Airport - ENSN on 29-09-2016, along with another L-29 (LN-KJJ and two Yak-52's, LN-JAK and LN-JAQ)

The Norwegian Army took delivery of 16 Super Cubs in 1955 to serve in the forward air control role where the type served until retired in 1992.
