In May 1971 Icelnadair TF-FIA named "Solfaxi", as their 2nd B727-100QC. in 1976 TF-FIA was repainted to the new Flugfelag Islands livery. October 1979 the new Icelandair ("Flugleidir") was after the merger between Flugfelag Islands and Loftleidir, and rr to TF-FLG. In 1982 TF-FLG was repainted to the new Icelandair livery, with new name "Heimfari". 31st October 1989 sold to UPS and converted for cargo. April 1990 N940UP UPS ship 940, and re-enginged with two new RR Tay 651-54. Scrapped 2008.

May 1990 converted to freighter DC-8-63F op for Aer Turas as EI-CAK. July 1994 N786AL Air Transport International, Juloy 2004 9G-FAB Johnsons Air. 2010 wfu in UAE and broken up Sorry I could not avoid the tree...
