"Singapore '85" titles on the tail appeared nearly exclusively on the tails of long range aircraft in the mid- 80s for the new destination, but exceptions apply. Air Canada flew Toronto - London - Bombay (Mumbai) - Singapore and Singapore Airlines flew Singapore - Seoul - Vancouver and later Singapore - Vienna - Amsterdam - Toronto. Disagreements over Air Canada's 5th freedom passengers by British Airways out of London and Singapore's mainly into Toronto saw the bilateral cancelled in 1991.

In the late 60s and 70s, De Havilland aircraft in the Canadian Air Force used in Search and Rescue had an over all white color scheme (with high visibility additions). This facilitated an aircraft's use in Canada's United Nations missions around the world where the aircraft were over all white marked with UN insignia. SAR markings changed to over all yellow in the late 70s. 13805 is current with 440 Squadron based at Yellowknife, NWT at the time of uploading.

After a time leased to Thai Airways (HS-TIF), it went in a package deal with four other ex-Wardair A310s to the Canadian Air Force. A cargo door was added during military conversion and later became the first aircraft converted to Multi-Role Tanker Transport for Canada.
