Delivered new to Crownair of Sweden in 1973 and parked here after getting an overhaul at a local third-party maintenance contractor. It was then registered to Harbour Air of Vancouver as C-GHAZ from April to July of 2004 before export to Greece. Current as 8Q-MBF with Trans Maldivian Airways in 2023.

Delivered new to Widerøe's in 1957 and imported into Canada in 1971. The Certificate of Registration was cancelled in January 2001 and it was supposedly parked at Hemet/CA during this time, so I don't know what it was doing here. It surfaced dismantled in a truck at Venon/BC in 2005 and was converted to Texas Turbine, then was exported as N205RC. Alaska based in 2023.

Imported new in 1977 and Brandon (CYBR) based in 2023.

Delivered new to Eastern Provincial Airways in 1953 and sitting here in a damaged state while in service with locally based Blue Water Aviation. After repair it went to Cochrane Air Services and current with them in 2023.

Built in 1981 and imported in 1996. The aircraft suffered a nose gear collapse in 2007 but was photographed operational in 2010. The reason for its cancellation in 2012 is a mystery.

Still in Canadian military livery from when it was serial 142801, it is one of a pair acquired by Field Aviation of Calgary and modified to civil standards. By this date it had already been re-registered as C-FASC for Arctic Sunwest Charters. After several ownership changes it became C-FCGE with Provincial Aerospace and is used as a surveillance aircraft. Just visible behind this is the other one, C-GJVB (ex 142802), which became C-GSUR with the Canadian Government and is also used as a surveillance aircraft, based at Vancouver.

Imported in 1985 and here still in the livery of Provincial Airlines of Newfoundland despite being registered to locally based Bolton Lake Air Services. After operating with Skynorth Air from 2006 to 2014, it was exported as N105TG then moved on to Colombia the same year.

Built in 1980 and imported in 2001 for the air ambulance branch of Skyward Aviation called SkyCare (on the side). Skyward were closed down by Transport Canada in 2005 for numerous infractions and this Cessna passed to SkyCare Air Ambulance, of Sioux Lookout/ON, as their first aircraft. Maybe the company name was inspired by the lettering on this aircraft (no re-paint required). This particular aircraft was exported as XB-LNK in 2009.

Imported new in 1946 and last known with a Thompson/MB address as of 2023.

This 1968 built PA-32 has a MASA Stol kit installed. Obvious additions are the dorsal fillet and wedge-shaped extensions on the wing leading edge. Still registered in 2023 and possibly operates in the Caribbean.

Built in 1958 for the German military and served with Campbell until export as N827MW in 2002. On 10 November 2019 it was wrecked in a landing accident a Lebanon/IA.

Joined First Nations Transportation (FNT) Inc - " Serving the North" - supplying remote communities from 2006, but the firm lost its operator's licence over the course of 2009. Bought by Buffalo Airways in 2010. Sold to Basler Turbo Conversions Llc in 2016. Became Basler BT-67 N144WC.

Built in 1945 for the USAAF as 44-78649. From 1948, as N74141, served a number of US operators, initially with Pan American World Airways. Exported to Canada in 1985. Went to Kenya in 1994 for three years' relief work as 5Y-IBX. First Nations Transportation (FNT) Inc was formed in 2003 to supply remote communities, but over the course of 2009 lost its operator's licence. Registration cancelled in 2010. Under the aegis of SASCO Ltd, remained in store at Gimli.

This first production ST-28, first flew in December 1975. The Canadian Saunders Aircraft Company had moved from Quebec to Gimli, Manitoba in 1971 to manufacture ST-27 regional airliners, which were twin turboprop conversions of second hand De Havilland Herons. The ST-28 was a new-build, developed and improved version of the ST-27. However, progress with testing towards certification and series production, with no firm orders, proved too much of a financial strain. The withdrawal of Provincial Government support funding in 1976 finally caused the company to shut down.

Built in 1955, imported in 1976 as C-GSSN then re-registered as above in 1997. Based at North Battleford/SK (CYQW) in 2023.

Imported new in 1999 and between then and 2021 it bounced back and forth between Alta Flights and Conair. After which it passed to Tintina Air at Whitehorse/YT (CYXY) where it still is in 2023.

Built in 1954 and apart from a frustrated sale as LN-SUV to Widerøs, has carried the same registration all its service life. At the photo date it was a leaser with Eagle Aviation at Silver Falls and still there in 2023 with Blue Water Aviation Services.

Delivered new to Jetstream International Als in 1983 as N821JS and operated for US Air Express. Later registered as N619JX then returned to BAe Asset Management and parked at Kingman/AZ. By 1999 it had been parted out as shown here. (BAe had so many of these on their hands they approached the engineering company I worked for in Winnipeg to see if we could design a cheap and cheerful express package modification. This fuselage was trucked to Winnipeg to be used as a prototype. The idea proved impractical due to the lack of a location for crew access when the cabin was crammed full of payload.)

Built in 2000 and here visiting in connection with a TV series called Wings Over Canada. The aircraft was still registered to Found Aircraft at the time. Under later ownership, on 5 July 2006, it met its end on a river 100 NM north of Kuujjuarapik/QC. A water landing went bad and it overturned at 50 knots then was carried downstream while tumbling through rapids.
