Since the early 2000s, 14 RCAF CP-140s have undergoing the Aurora Incremental Modernization Project (AIMP) (in four block upgrades, I to IV) as well as the Aurora Structural Life Extension Project (ASLEP) involved replacing wings and horizontal stabilizers. The upgrade work stopped after Canada ordered Boeing P-8As in November 2023.

This Canadair T-33AN was built at Cartierville Airport in Montreal and delivered to the RCAF as No. 21573. With unification of the Canadian Armed Forces, it was re-serialed 133573 in 1970. Later assigned to No. 414 Sqn at CFB Comox (1982-1989) and to the Aerospace Engineering Test Establishment at CFB Cold Lake. Stored at CFB Mountainview by June 2005. One of several T-33s sold in airworthy condition. To Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association in 2008. To Jet Aircraft Museum in 2009. Repainted in RCAF Red Knight colours (active from 1958 to 1969) in 2017 and first flown on 26 Aug. 2018 at CYXU.

Built as Hunter T.7A, in 1959, XL616 flew with the Royal Air Force until about 1985 when it became an instructional airframe at RAF Cosford. It was sold in 1995 to Lansen Ltd and re-registered G-BWIE. Transported by road to Sweden in 1997 or 1998 and operated as SE-DXH by Lansen Ltd, Avancerad Flygtraning from 1999. Hawker Hunter T7A, C-GHHR, was registered to the International Test Pilots School (Canada) Inc. in London, Ontario, Canada on December 10, 2021. Originally built as Hunter F.4, WV318, it was delivered to the RAF in June 1955 and converted to the T.7A in 1964. One of the last Hunters to serve with the RAF, it was purchased by Delta Jets in 1996 and became G-FFOX. The aircraft had several owners after Delta Jets folded in about 2012 and it went to the Västerås Flygmuseum in Sweden in May 2014. It was purchased by ITPS and left Sweden for Canada in May 2019 and then restored to flying condition.

Hawker Hunter T7A, C-GHHR, was registered to the International Test Pilots School (Canada) Inc. in London, Ontario, Canada on December 10, 2021. On May 28, 2016, Hawker Hunter T7 XL600 arrived at London International Airport in Ontario, Canada after being purchased by Graham Rawlinson and Simon Pont from an auction in England earlier in the year.
