Delivered to the RAF as a MR2 on 08 Mar 1954. Converted to an AEW2 in 1972 and delivered to 8 Squadron who's markings it is preserved in. WFU some time after 1982 and allocated ground serial 8772M. Later transferred to the Museum of Science and Industry. Avro were a local company based in Manchester. All 8 Squadron Shack's carried a cartoon character from the children's television programme 'The Magic Roundabout' on their nose. This one is 'Dougal' which can be seen just below the cockpit windows.

Built locally in 1953 at Woodford for experimental purposes to test the delta wing configuration for the up coming Vulcan bomber. The Avro 707 was a one third scale model for the bomber. After being WFU it was preserved at the RAF museum at Cosford. In 1982 it went to Brize Norton for restoration before being transferred to the Museum of Science & Industry. Moved in 2022 to the Boscombe Down Aviation Collection at Old Sarum.

Air Fete 1985. Operated by Esk 726. Built by Canadair in 1964 for the RDAF and assigned 'paper' serial 62-12345. Delivered on 23 Nov 1964 as R-345. WFU 30 Apr 1986. Moved by road to Bremerhaven on 31 Mar 1987 for shipment to the Taiwan Air Force - RoCAF as 4413. WFU on 07 Mar 1994. On retirement transferred to the Chinese AF Museum at Gangshan AB, Taiwan. Last noted there in Apr 2023.
