Registered as G-AHPS and flown by British European Airways until 1955. After two abortive sales to Aero Express in Germany as D-CEDU & D-ABOM it was sold to Deutsche Flugdienst GmbH in January 1956 as D-ABOM and leased to Lufthansa who purchased it in April 58 when it became D-BORA. In November 1961 it was transferred to Condor Flugdienst who continued to use it on freight services for Lufthansa. After being ferried to Biggin Hill in early 1964 it was purchased by Autair and ferried to Luton where it was broken up for spares.

Built as a Type 498 Viking 1A in 1946, it was initially delivered to BEA. Other users were British South America Airways, Eagle Airways and Orion Airways before its final operator Air Safaris. Written from use in August 1962 and broken up in 1963 at Hurn, UK.

Purchased by Eagle Aviation from BEA in 1953 and operated Eagles first scheduled passenger flight, from Blackbushe to Belgrade, via Munich on 6th June 1953. Sold to Airnautic as F-BJRS in April 1961 and later flew with Air Dauphine and Transports Aeriens Reunis before being withdrawn and scrapped at Perpignan in 1975.

One of 35 aircraft which made up the excellent RAF Colerne Aircraft Museum. The aircraft were dispersed when the station closed in 1976. Arrived at Colerne 2nd September 1964, ex-CATCS. Allocated maintenance serial 7858M. Departed in March 1976 to the SAS training area near Ewayas Harold, Herefordshire where it was blown up in an exercise in December 1977.

Photo taken 'early-1966'. First flight 10 Jan.1947 as VL246 and delivered to RAF King's Flight 25 Jan.1947. Registered to Tradair as G-APOP -6 Aug.1958 and delivered to them at Southend 12 Aug.1958. Registered to Channel Airways 20 Dec.1962 following corporate name change. This was Channel Airways' last operational Viking and made its final flight to/from Basle on -4 Jan.1965. after which it was WFU at Southend and its fuselage used as a cabin trainer until late-1967. It was cancelled -7 Mar.1969 as PWFU and scrapped at Southend Jan.1970.

Originally a V.614 Mk.1, registered 27 June 1946, F/F 29 Oct.1946. Delivered to BEA named "Vantage" 12 Nov.1946. To Aviation Traders at Southend 21 Dec.1948 and converted to V.657 Mk.1. To BWIA as VP-TAZ Feb.1950 and to CAAC as VP-YJA Sept.1951. Restored as G-AHOZ Sept.1957, to East Anglian Flying Services May 1958 and Channel Airways Nov.1962 upon corporate name change. Withdrawn from use at Southend by Jan.1963 and cannibalised for spares until eventually scrapped there April 1964. Cancelled 2 May 1964 as 'Destroyed'.

First flew 31st May 1947 as EI-ADF for Aer Lingus. To Airwork as G-AKTV 15th March 1948, using serial WZ357 for trooping flights 1952/55. Acquired by Tradair 13th May 1959 and made its last flight 2nd Sept.1963, then stored at Southend until scrapped August 1964. Cancelled 7th March 1969 as PWFU.

Registered 18 Nov.1946, first flew 16 May 1947. Initially operated by BEA, then to Germany in 1956 for Deutsche Flugdienst, first as D-AGIL and later D-BARI. Sold to Balair as HB-AAN in 1958 and restored as G-AIVF to Air Ferry 14 Feb.1963. Converted to Mk.3B freighter April 1963. To Invicta Airways 14 April 1966 and reverted to Mk.1B May 1967. Subsequently scrapped at Manston and cancelled 3 Feb.1969 as WFU.

Registered 27 June 1946, first flew 4 Oct.1946. Operated initially by BEA and thereafter several other UK operators (including some trooping flights as XD636). Cancelled 3 Nov.1954 on sale to Trek Airways as ZS-DKI. Restored as G-AHOW 31 July 1958 and converted to Mk.1 Aug. 1960. Registered to Air Ferry at Manston 10 Apr.1964 and fitted with a large freight door Feb.1965. To Invicta Airways 21 Nov.1966. At the date of this photo it still carried the Air Ferry logo on the fin although that airline's name had been painted out. It was later scrapped at Manston and was cancelled 3 Feb.1969 as WFU.

First flew 19 August 1947 as VL231 and transferred for service in Woomera, Australia, 31 March 1948. To RAAF as A82-1 but reverted to VL231. Registered G-AOCH 13 May 1955, to Germany as D-AMOR for LTU Feb.1957, later D-BABY March 1958. Restored to Air Ferry as G-AOCH 7 October 1963, to Invicta Airways 14 April 1966. Scrapped at Manston with C.of A. expired 7 July 1968. Cancelled 3 February 1969 as Withdrawn from Use.
