March 1989 Birmingham European Airways - (BEA) tfd. 11-1992 BEA and Brymon Airways merged into Brymon European Airways - (still BEA) tfd. 08-1993 Maersk Air UK tfd, opf BA Express in BA Landor colours.. August 1996 G-WMCC donated to the Birmingham Fire Service after 14 years of flying. Seen taxing for a rwy 24 departure to....... yes, to Birmingham! :)

The first prototype aircraft. WMCC stands for West Midlands County Council. Only been with BEA a few days. First flight 18 Mar 1982 as G-TALL and retained by British Aerospace. To Birmingham Executive Airways as G-WMCC on 03 Oct 1983. Renamed Birmingham European Airways Mar 1989 and merged into Brymon European Oct 1992. To Maersk Air UK 01 Aug 1993 and flew in BA colours from 18 Aug 1994. WFU 30 Aug 1996. On the BHX fire dump by Nov 1999. The fuselage was moved to West Midlands Fire Service training academy in Smethwick and seen there 03 Oct 2011.

Brymon European Airways was an airline formed in November 1992 by the merger of Birmingham European Airways and Brymon Airways. The merger was short-lived. In 1993, Brymon European was again split up. The Brymon operations were purchased by British Airways (Brymon) and the former Birmingham European operations were purchased by Maersk Air. This aircraft was r/o 18 Aug 94 in British Airways c/s (operated by Brymon). It finished up with the Birmingham Airport Fire Dept. in Dec 97.

This is the first production Jetstream 31. It's first flight was March 18, 1982 and after flying with British Aerospace as G-TALL, the aircraft was delivered to Birmingham Executive on October 3, 1983. It was retired in August 1996 and ended up training airport fire fighters.
