LN-KOD was delivered to Norsk Air in November 1986, initially with a tail design that was based on the shipping line Kosmos' funnel. When the company merged with Widerøe in 1989, the tail design was adapted to Widerøe's flying seagull, initially in blue. When the airline was renamed Widerøe Norsk Air a few years later, the livery was changed to that of Widerøe. Leaving Widerøe Norsk Air in October 1996, it became N14033, later EC-GMT and EC-GQA. NorskAir is was based at Sandefjord, but due to the bankruptcy of Norving, they flew at Geiteryggen to keep up the routes flown by Norving at least in 1988. LN-KOD is lifting from the main runway.

NorskAir did their maintenance at Sandefjord between Friday evening and Sunday afternoon. The whole fleet was at Sandefjord airport on this Saturday afternoon.
